Too often contractors want to start a monthly newsletter program or a blog but just don’t know what type of information to share. From time to time I’ll share tips that I think homeowners would find valuable to know.
It doesn’t matter if you are a new home builder, remodeler or trade contractor because when you share these useful home tips, you also gain credibility with your customers and prospects. This means that when it comes time for these folks to build a new house or improve the one they are in, they’ll be more apt to hire you, the trusted expert.
Although Tip #1 seems simple enough (everyone should know this, right?), not everyone does. New home owners make this mistake all the time, and busy, veteran homeowners just forget … and it causes all kinds of havoc on the comfort level of the home (usually during a holiday weekend)! Sometime homeowners need that gentle reminder to ensure they simply don’t forget.
